To put my skills and what I learned to the test, I came up with a fun Project: Rockstars as Animal Character.
For my second character I decided to take Alice Cooper. I saw him live at the Wacken Festival in Germany. He left quite the impression and I love his music.
The Stagecharacter Alice Cooper does feel mischievous, a bit malignant and like a trickster. So I decided to take a Hyena as my Animal. I also just love Hyena and think they deserve all the spotlight they can get.
First up I made some Hyena Studies and used what I learned to combine Human and Hyena DNA.
I played around with colours and the background.
I came back to my style exploration during the process and decided to ditch the background and put the emphasis on the sketching part, since this is what I most enjoy.
