Since we got our kittens, I have awesome acrobatic references. So I thought I make a cat monkey hybrid creature.
Monkey cats are arboreal and ground-dwelling. They are excellent climbers with their feet and hands that are in between monkey hands and cat paws. Their quickest movement ist with jumps from tree to tree, but their speed on the floor is also very good. They have a strong and flexible body, quick reflexes, sharp teeth, and non-retractable claws. Another asset is their prehensile tail. Its night vision and sense of smell are well developed. They are active day and night, whatever fits their environment best. They live alone or in small colonies. They live on an omnivore diet. They mostly eat fruit, insects, nuts, seed but also small rodents and birds.
This subspecies is called Tamanian (cotton top Tamarin+ Abyssinian mix).
Then I thought about the creature and how it would live. From that I made a character sheet and some sketches.
