This year I took part in the Adventscalendar from @24_illustrations on Instagram again. The Theme was the Journey and you can check it out if you need some cool Art this December.
For the theme “The Journey” I took a time travel to the origins of Helvetier which was a Celtic tribe. Among Celtic Christmas Traditions, I found the wren tradition. In previous times, wren boys would hunt a wren, kill it, and visit homes reciting a poem that asked for money to give the bird a proper burial. A feather from the wren might be offered to the patrons for good luck.
I thought of the wrens point of view and decided he would definitely pack his bag and be on his own journey away from the craziness.
